We are thrilled to announce Adha Zelma was recently seen on R&B singer and songwriter Keri Hilson. Celebrity Fashion Stylist Andre Austin waved his magic wand of fierceness for the Keri's fashion spread in the December 08 issues of The Source.

Keri rocked Adha Zelma's limited-edition "Little Kiss" multi-strand earrings fashioned of 24K Charlottes with Coral, Citrine, Cornelian and feathers.

Africa Is In Style

I recently picked this book up. I was immediately drawn to the title because I have always felt Africa is in vogue. There was something about the cover that really turned me on. Sheanan and I love to take our inspiration from traditional adornment concepts and I thought this coffee table book would be perfect inspiration. I must say I was a bit let down. The content is brief and doesn't quite focus on the continent as a whole. Heavy focus is placed primarily on West Africa. Although the work doesn't stand up to my expectations, I do congratulate the goal of cataloguing the ways that African designers are shaping a new aesthetic for the fashion world.

Celebrity makeup artists Vanessa Dunn and her twin sister, model and businesswoman Kelli Dunn, launch NOMA Beauty Magazine for makeup artists and those who adore makeup.

The photographer for both shots pictured is none other than celebrity photographer Jo Lance.

A Mid-Summer's Night Rio

"This Morning I woke up and refused to comb my hair!"

When I first heard this line from the published poet, lyricist, performer, love maker and Adha Zelma "IT" goddess Faybiene Miranda, I knew we would be friends for a very long time. I soon found out Faybiene is a legendary name in Reggae. Her first recording, 'Prophecy' in the 1970's is regarded as one of the biggest classics from the period.

This diva is one of the most stylish artists in any scene. She rocks an earthy, world-culture sophistication and was the perfect model choice for our Mid-Summer's Night Rio shoot.

It was important to Sheanan and myself to make sure the model we selected was truly a woman who could embody a spirit with NO regrets, loves her power and wants all eyes on her. Faybiene was perfect!

Our muse for the Rio collection was "Titania," queen of the fairies from Shakespeare's A Mid-Summer's Night Dream. We wanted to approach the shoot with a blend of theater (my background) & fashion (Sheanan's).

Our good friend Sean from In Focus photography was down to join us in our creative voyage.



So off we went renegade style...
