Adha Zelma Jewelry Co-Sponsors The 10TH Season of The Brooklyn Fashion Week{end} In New York City

ADHA ZELMA JEWELRY CO-SPONSORS THE 10th season of the Brooklyn Fashion Week{END} IN NEW YORK CITY

New York, NY – (April 8, 2010) – Adha Zelma Jewelry has teamed up with the Brooklyn Style Foundation and Brooklyn Fashion Week(end) to produce the 10^th season’s "I am Brooklyn" - Fall/Winter 2010 Collections on Sunday, April 11^th featuring designs by Crying Tears, Sachika, Futa Fashion, Alisha Trimbles, Pantora by Andrea’s Pitters, Das Komitte, Gwen Beloti and many more.

Celebrity jewelry line and co-sponsor of this season’s Fall/Winter Brooklyn Fashion Week(end), Adha Zelma Jewelry, will be partnering with designers Sachika and Gwen Beloti in providing the accessories for their shows. This fashion showcase will include pieces from Adha Zelma’s Aria collection and their newest line Rock & Bone, a fusion of earth, rock, folk, blues and psychedelic. The collection features Sterling silver and 24K gold-plated Czech beads with feathers, bone and a symphony of gemstones.

The devastation in Haiti is tremendous and it's great to be apart of a cause that is giving to the relief efforts.” said Cherise TrahanMiller, co-designer of Adha Zelma. In addition to the fashion show, Adha Zelma Jewelry will be placing a limited edition piece called BKLYN in the VIP gift bags.

The designers of Adha Zelma Jewelry, Cherise TrahanMiller and Sheanan Bond will also be featured as one of the talented designers of Brooklyn to be part of the "I am Brooklyn" campaign. The Brooklyn Style Foundation will kick off the campaign to promote Brooklyn and the campaign will include a photo montage to be uploaded to www.iambrooklyn.us and all social networks. Sheanan Bond, co-designer said “We are Brooklyn creatives and Brooklynites. Brooklyn is teeming with diverse cultures and so there are many personal expressions that create what we call BKLYN style. It's edge and sensibilities are bold and daring like our Adha Zelma jewelry collections.”

While the spotlight will be on the fashion show, proceeds from the event will be donated to benefit the Abner Louima Foundation in support of the initiatives for Haiti.

The Fall/Winter 2010 BK Fashion Week(end) show will take place 6:00 PM at Stage 6/Steiner Studios located at 15 Washington Ave, Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Red carpet arrivals will begin at 5:30 PM.
